Scituate voters approve public safety, Gates school projects

Scituate voters will be given a second opportunity to decide the outcome of funding a new public safety facility, and a new middle school, when these two projects are placed on a debt exclusion override ballot at a Special Town Election on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015. Residents voted in favor of both articles in just under two and a half hours at the Dec. 3 Special Town Meeting, where voter turnout totaled 1,143.
